This week's game is from the final round of the 2008 Idaho Closed (State Championship) tournament. Whoever won this game was to become Idaho Chess Champion. If Luke Harmon-Vellotti had won this game, he would easily have been the youngest player (by about 10 years) ever to win the Title! Jason Evers, of Fruitland, Idaho, was new to Idaho tournaments. Jason's play throughout the tournament was excellent, and he impressed many with his courtesy and sportsmanship.
