To be held in Twin Falls, Idaho at the beautiful YWCA building on East Elizabeth Blvd., site of previous tournaments.

Registration: 8:30 - 9:30 am. Saturday, February 24, play starts at 9:45 am. Swiss style tournament with five rounds, three Saturday and two Sunday. Play will be over by 5:30 pm. Sunday to allow for travel.

Entry Fee: $5.00 except $2.50 for juniors 18 years old or younger.

USCF Rated! All entrants must belong to or join the United States Chess Federation at the tournament. Annual USCF dues if paid at the tournament = $8.00 except $4.00 for under 21 years. Present members bring currrent paid up card.

One playing section for all classes. Prizes will include trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 1st Class B, 2nd Class B, 1st Class C or unrated, and 1st Junior. Harkness pairings, 50/2 time limit. Our annual business meeting will be held at the tournament. New officers for 1973 should be elected. Glen Buckendorf is current President and Dick Vandenburg is current Secretary-Treasurer. Trophies went to Germalm, Lund, Cowan, Allen (Jr.) + in the eight man unrated section to Arlo Anderson 1st, Ed Smith 2nd, David Reavill 3rd, Bill Spaletta Jr. Cash awards in rated section also given. Twelve new USCF members added! Eugene Cowan directed. Total players in both sections = 32!
