Format: 6 Round Swiss System

Time Controls: 30/120 SD/60

Site: Boise State University, Student Union Building, Lookout Room, 1910 University Dr., Boise, Idaho

Entry Fee: $35 (includes $10 ICA Membership) if registered by February 9, 2010. $30 (includes $10 ICA Membership) for Seniors (60+) and Juniors (under 18) if registered by February 9, 2010. $10 for the host Boise State Chess Club members (plus $10 ICA Membership) if registered by February 9, 2010. $50 (includes $10 ICA Membership) for EVERYONE if registered after February 9, 2010.

E-mail entries received by February 9, 2010 will lock in advance entry fee.

ICA Membership: $10 is available separately for those wanting to join the ICA but not play in the tournament if received by the close of the Annual Business Meeting (which is Sunday, February 14, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.).

Current USCF Membership is required, available at site or online at www.uschess.org

Restriction: Open to Idaho residents only.

One Section: Open

Check-in and Registration: 7-8am Saturday, February 13, 2010. Those who fail to check in or register prior to 8:00 a.m. may not be paired in the first round.

Round 1: 9:00 a.m., Saturday, February 13, 2010
Round 2: 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 13, 2010
Elections/Annual Business Meeting 8:00 a.m.-9:00 a.m., Sunday, February 14, 2010
Round 3: 9:30 a.m., Sunday, February 14, 2010
Round 4: 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 14, 2010
Round 5: 8:00 a.m., Monday, February 15, 2010
Round 6: 3:00 p.m., Monday, February 15, 2010

1/2 point bye (Available for Rounds 1-5 only. Limit of 1 per player. Must commit before second round pairing.)

The following ICA Rule will apply: A player who withdraws from the tournament is ineligible to win any prize.

Prizes: Trophies: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Overall; 1st, 2nd: Class X, A, E, F, Woman, Junior, Unrated; 1st, 2nd, 3rd: Class B, C, and D.
