2007 ICA January Quads
(January 3-21, Boise, ID)

Crosstable Games Flyer

The 2007 ICA January Quads was held in Boise, Idaho between January 3 and January 21, 2007. Fourteen (14) players took part in a very enjoyable and somewhat unusual tournament which consisted of twenty (20) rated games and one (1) game forfeiture that was not rated. One player, Luke Harmon, actually gained 150 USCF rating points as a result of his performance in the three round event. Quads are great opportunities for chess players to really improve their play as they match closely rated players in 4-man round robin tournaments known as Quads. This usually means that every game will be hard fought and challenging.
